Retailers are slashing costs and narrowing margins in order to stay afloat in the heavily competitive online market this holiday season according to the the NY times “Web Sites Wage Holiday Price Wars.” Besides slashing prices sometimes more than 50%, they are offering free shipping and other shopping incentives as they desperately seek to drive traffic and increase sales. Thanks to everyone who came out on Monday and made the Direct Agents ad:tech party a great success! The venue (230 Fifth Avenue) could not have been better and the view could not be beat, but it was all our great affiliates who really made the night.
